Join us for our weekly meetings!

Every week, the AI Safety Initiative hosts a fun and interactive event for our members. Past events have included:

- A speaker from METR, which is a non-profit studying AI capabilities (including its ability to perform AI R&D)

- A speaker from EluetherAI, who presented a broad review of the field of Mechanistic Interpretability and how members can contribute.

- A Scary Demos Night, where we showcased the current capacity of AI to be misused and students came up with their own demos.

Future events will include:

- Speakers from world class AI safety organizations and companies

- Hands-on technical workshops (follow along and learn!)

- Tabletop wargame simulations

- Office hours where you can get career advising and get pointed towards relevant opportunities

We also have pizza and other vegan options for attendees!
